Thursday, May 19th, is Open House. It will be LIVE and in person this year!! We are so looking forward to sharing our class work, projects, and classroom with you.  Our room will be open from 6-7pm and the Home and School Club is having a burrito fundraiser from 5:00-6:15.  Parents and students are all welcome to attend. I hope to see many of you there!

The book fair will be available to families throughout this week. I have attached a note from our librarian, Ms. Mel,  to this page. I also forwarded her note in a separate email. (It's labeled e-wallet, but it is book fair information.) Her note will outline the various ways for your child to purchase books. Additionally, she is in need of some parent support throughout the week. Please take a moment to look over her communication.

Our field trip to Nisene Marks is planned for the 31st of this month. It will be nice to get outside the classroom and walk amongst the trees!  Permission slips have been sent home in folders. If you misplaced yours, or never received one, please notify me so I can send another one home this week. Please be sure you return a signed permission slip and if you are interested in driving, please sign the driver's intent form attached to the permission slip. Drivers must make sure all paperwork is updated in the front office.

Our Walk for Valencia + Field Day event is set for Friday, 5/27. Walk for Valencia fundraising forms will be sent home soon. All forms + money are due back by Wednesday, 5/25. We have a wonderful donor who will match funds collected up to $10,000!  Families who collect/donate $100 or more are entered into a drawing for one of our prize parent parking spaces!
