MR. MILLER'S SIXTH GRADE CLASS

Week of November 26

Every Day:

  • It is also your responsibility to meet your independent reading goal by December 20.  Keep reading towards your goal of at least one million words by the end of the school year.   One idea is to read at least 3,000 words each day of the week.

Language Arts:

  • Study your spelling words: remember, restaurant, rhythm, ridiculous, schedule, scissors, separate, similar, sincerely, straight
  • Remember that you can revise and resubmit your Reading Responses and Social Studies projects if you get a 1 or 2 on an assignment.  Be sure to let Mr. Miller know when you resubmit an assignment.
  • Remember that you can revise your narrative writing test and turn it back in to Ms. Christie if you want to improve your grade.

Math:

  • Remember that you can correct your mistakes on math quizzes with an original score of a 1 or 2.  Correct your mistakes on a separate piece of paper and turn them in with the original quiz.

Other:

  • Remember your library books on Thursday.
  • Please share your Science Camp forms with your parents and return those forms with money directly to Mr. Miller.
  • Turn in your yearbook order form with payment directly to Mr. Miller.
