Current Assignments

April/May

We are on list D of our sight words. Many kids are on the second 100. Keep up the great work!

Your child should know how to count to 100 by ones and tens. We are currently focused on how many ones/tens are in teen numbers. For example 14 has one ten and 4 ones.We are also adding numbers and coming up with different combinations. For example, how many ways can you make 10? There are 11 ways to make ten.

In writing your child should be able to write 2  sentence on their own. Please have them stretch the words out. This is more beneficial then "telling' them how to spell the word. Stretching is good! Google stretchy the word snake! They should be able to follow the editing rubric that has been  sent home.

The paper reading books are meant to be read every night.

Assigned: 04/11/19 Category: Assignment Points: 0 Due: 05/31/19

Field trip May 5/8 Sea Cliff Beach

5/8 we will be going to the visitors center and then onto the beach (not water). Let me know if you can drive!
